Is somebody watching? The Wende's Teen Night explores themes of surveillance.

The evening is themed on the Wende Museum’s current exhibition Counter/Surveillance: Control, Privacy, Agency, which features installations of Cold War-era surveillance technology alongside contemporary art installations that speak to the evolution of surveillance in the present day.

This event is for high school students only.

High School students are invited for a free evening of creativity, music, and community with students from all over the city. The evening's highlights include student art installations, live performances by local teen musicians, hands-on printmaking stations led by RISO Studio Arts, and delicious Vietnamese bites catered by Nong Lá Café.

Confirmed Eventbrite registration and valid student ID are required for admission. Open to all 2024-25 school year high school students, with valid student ID required at the door.

Student installations will involve a live-streamed video feed, and by attending this event, you consent to being filmed. No recordings will be made nor will be used for any purposes outside of the scope of the event.
